PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes the demolition, removal, and disposal of buildings and structures to concrete slabs and foundations; overhead utilities and reservoir spanning steel cables; torpedo launcher structure; rails and operation equipment; off-site steel structure; reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures; cutting and capping utility pipes and conduit at grade; protective coating of exposed metal bolts and connectors after cut-off; backfilling existing concrete utility trenches; removal and disposal of asbestos in building materials; obtaining and fulfilling all obligations to required agency permits; final clean-up to satisfy transfer of the demolished facility between governmental agencies; and incidental related work.--The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 210 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1795 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
