Shall be in accordance with the functional and performance specifications herein. (1) Digital CCD Camera System: Shall consist of a Scientific Grade CCD with Grade 1 quality, EEV CCD37 or equal. The system shall also support, at a minimum, 12-bit dynamic range and 2 million pixels per second CCD readout speed. REQUIREMENT FOR DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE: Descriptive literature must be furnished as part of the quotation. The literature furnished must be identified to show the item in the quotation to which it pertains. The descriptive literature is required to establish, for the purposes of quote evaluation and award, details of the product the quoter proposes to furnish as to materials, components, performance characteristics, etc. Failure of descriptive literature to show that the product offered conforms to the salient characteristics/specifications and other requirements of this Request for Quotation will require rejection of the quotation. Failure to furnish the descriptive literature by the date specified in the Request for Quotation will require rejection of the quotation. DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICAIOTNS/WORK STATEMENT: The Digital CCD Camera System shall meet or exceed the following characteristics and features: (1) Shall include a 512x512 pixel image array Scientific Grade CCD, EEV CCD37 Grade 1 or equal. (2) Shall provide for a pixel size of 15 micron x 15 micron. (3) Shall be capable of the following readout speeds, software selectable: 0.5 Mpixels/second, 1.0 Mpixels/second, 2.0 Mpixels/second (4) Shall support, at a minimum, 12-bit per pixel resolution. (5) Shall provide for a frame readout of 0.16 seconds at 2 Mpixels/second. (6) Shall include a comprehensive Camera Optimization Report and calibration certificate. (7) Shall provide for thermoelectric cooling of the CCD camera head. (8) Shall include a SCSI computer interface for use with Macintosh, Sun, and Silicon Graphics computers. This interface shall include an 8 Mpixel buffer to allow CCD readout independently of SCSI transfer rate. (9) Shall include IPLab spectrum image processing software (IPLAB-PVCAM).
