70 -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT SOL F2260096R0045 POC Denise Anderson tel: 601/377-1805/Johnson L. Tullos, Contracting Officer, 601/377-3808 81 CONS/LGCV, Keesler AFB MS 39534-2102, intends to acquire on a sole source basis through Rationale Software Corporation, 3504 Lake Lynda Drive, Suite 330, Orlando, FL, a software maintenance agreement with upgraded. This maintenance will be for any of the following available platforms: IBM RS/6000, HP, SUNparc and WindowsNT. This software is a DOD standard compiler package which has been selected through a trade-study conducted by IBM Federal Systems group when the Advanced Training System (ATS) was in the design stages. This software product is an integral part of the overall architecture and other products cannot be incorporated into the baseline design without immediate and grave impact toward the ATS meeting development and deployment milestones. The software required maintenance agreement will be a site license for thirty (30)concurrent user VADS Compilers for seven (7) Ada developmental stations. Maintenance will include software and long-distance technical telephonic support along with the standard VadSelf and VadsMP products. The software maintence agreement must provide automatic upgrade of existing licensed software developed and supported by Rational Software Corporation. The Ada complier has to allow for a timely migration from Ada 87 to Ada 95. Media to be delivered upon award of contract is CD-ROM as our first choice and 8mm as second choice for the IBM RS/6000 and CD-ROM for WindowsNT platforms. The performance period will be for a Basic period and four one year options. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document for additional information is available.
