#614. The 1996 Ballistic Missile Defense Organization Program Brief to
Industry and Government (BMDO PBIG) will be held on April 9 - 10,
1996, at the U.S. Department of State, 2201 C-Street NW, Washington, DC
20502 in the Dean Acheson Auditorium. Conference attendees are
requested to use the 23rd Street entrance to the State Department. The
BMDO PBIG will be held at the SECRET level. Only attendees holding a
current SECRET clearance will be able to attend. Note taking and the
use of cameras, cell phones, recording devices or other electronic
media are prohibited in the Acheson Auditorium during the conference.
Briefcases and the equivalent are also not permitted in the conference
and attendees are encouraged to leave these items in their quarters or
automobiles. Conference proceedings may be videotaped. Attendees will
receive a thorough program review with presentations and discussions on
timely, relevant activities affecting BMDO, the latest Theater Missile
Defense Initiatives, the current status of the National Missile
Defense Program, and ABM treaty impacts/updates. A forecast of expected
contract opportunities for the current and upcoming fiscal years will
be made available as well. This conference is targeted toward U.S.
industry and government missile defense decision makers, scientists,
and program planners in R&D, contracting, and marketing. Small and
disadvantaged businesses are also encouraged to attend. Please direct
