The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for forklift truck maintenance services on Government-owned equipment. The BEP requires this service for approximately thirty-two (32) forklifts currently used by BEP employees at the Washington, DC and Lorton, Virginia warehouse facilities. The prospective contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, supervision, tools and equipment required to properly maintain the forklift trucks. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Interested firms must submit a written request for Solicitation Number BEP-96-23(TA) to the Contract Specialist, Freda McDonald. Requests must be submitted in writing; no telephone requests will be accepted. Written requests must include the firms size status (large, small, minority, or women-owned). Written requests must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice. The approximate issue date is April 1, 1996 and the approximate opening date is May 1, 1996.
