U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific proposes to contract for Drydock & repair of USCGC Sherman, a 378' high endurance cutter, homeported in Alameda, CA. All work will be performed at a facility capable of drydocking the cutter during the period of 8 Jul through 16 Aug 1996. Work items include; temporary services, drydocking, underwater body inspection, underwater body preservation, CPP propeller maintenance, sea valve/waster piece overhaul, rudder maintenance, bow prop maintenance, mag sprinkler valve overhaul, freeboard preservation and ground tackle overhaul. In accordance with the competitive demonstration program an unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 1 Apr 1996. All responsive bids will be considered. (0078)
