Manufacturers include Dover Elevator Co, Elevator Technology, Flexidock, U.S. Elevator Corp, Haughton Elevator Co, General Elevator Corp, Gillespie, American Manufacturing Co and Southworth. Basic contract period is 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997 with three one-year option periods. Invitation for Bid No. F05604-96-B-7001 will be issued on or about 1 July 1996. This proposed contract is being considered as a 100 percent set-aside for small business. Interested small business concerns should provide the contracting office as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after this notice, evidence of their capability to perform the contract. If adequate response is not received from small businesses, the solicitation will be issued, without further notice, as unrestricted.
