Crouse, Contract Specialist, (202) 685-3162 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The work includes demolition of an existing multi-zone unit, electronic thermostats and electronically controlled motorized valves. Also included in the demolition will be all hot and chilled water piping from the main hand cut-off valves to the multi-zone unit. The existing steam to hot water convertor will be used. New work shall include replacing the multi-zone unit, thermostats, piping and pumps and incidental related work. Redundant pumping will be provided for both systems. Each piece of new equipment will have pneumatic controls. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 1711. The size standard is $17M. Requests for plans and specifications must be made in writing accompanied with a check in the amount of $20.00 made payable to the order of US Treasury c/o EFA Chesapeake, mailed or hand delivered to the above address. Please note the plans and specifications will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at Building 212, First Floor, Plans and Specs Room at the Washington Navy Yard.
