Project involves: Furnish/install carpet, vinyl and ceramic tile, masonry, concrete, windows, doors/frames, wall partitions, millwork, prisoner holding cells, fire sprinklers, light fixtures and acoustic ceiling systems. Work also includes: painting, exterior stone repair, glazing, plumbing, HVAC repair, HVAC duct cleaning, miscellan-eous electrical work, and asbestos abatement (contained in vinyl floor tile and pipe lagging). The bidder, or subcontractor, performing the asbestos abatement work shall meet the competency qualification requirements as specified in Section 00120 of the specification, and provide bodily injury liability insurance coverage. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with the hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks.
