This notice serves as the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA). Upgrade shall include EDS software capable of doing spectrum calibration and spectrum acquisition and parameter set-ups. The Analysis control software shall be able to do complex analysis sequencing, and do custom report formatting. The Quantiative analysis software shall have the capacity to do conductive coating and contamination layer correction. The image software shall have a resolution of 4096x4096, minimum. It shall also do real-time histograms. The quantiative x-ray map processing software shall do at least 20, 16 bit x-ray maps with a resolution of 1024x1024. The analyzer control software shall be able to control the Delta Quantum Detector and have a LN monitor. The preamplifier for the LN detectors shall be a model 2008.
