70 -- DRAFTS--REQUESTS FOR COMMENTS SOL RFC-DRAFT-0396 POC Gloria Smith, 301-457-1867 The BOC intends to acquire via competitive RFP, a large scale, image based, data capture system to support the Year 2000 Decennial Census. The BOC intends to make available several sections of a draft RFP for comment. Interested contractors have 15 days from the date of this notice to request inclusion on a list of companies interested in receiving RFP sections. The RFP sections will be sent out on a flow basis, beginning with a draft Section C sometime after April 1. Please provide the following information in your request: Name, Company, Address, phone number, e-mail address, alternate contact person. You MUST request to be added to this mailing list even if you have attended previous BOC conferences or received a previous draft for comment. However, once you have added your company to this mailing list, you will automatically receive all sections that are mailed out for comments. Individual mailings will provide a comment due date. This will be the ONLY notice for receipt of DRAFT RFP sections. This is NOT a notice of issuance of a formal solicitation. There will be a separate announcement for the availability of the final RFP.
