A -- MODULATOR ASSEMBLY AND DETECTOR SOL DTCG39-96-B-E00162 DUE 042096 POC Contact Caroline Bennington, Contracting Officer, 860-444-8665, FAX 860-444-8299 This project consists of the provision of one (1) Zoex KT-2000 Modulator Assembly Retrofit Kit which includes: Heater, Drive Assembly, Controller, Chassis, DAQ, Terminal Connector, Installations, Technical Support and; one (1) Zoex Prototype High Speed Photoionization Detector which includes: Detector Body to Retrofit HP 5890, Detector Analog Electronics. Under Statutory Authority 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), the U.S. Coast Guard anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with Zoex Corporation of Lincoln, NE for the purchase of the above described equipment. Zoex Corporation designed this modulator assembly and prototype detector and holds the patent rights. It has been determined that the Government's minimum needs can best be served by one source.
