Provision of support will be required at all NMD facilities nationwide. The major NMD facilities are located in: Reston, Virginia; Rolla, Missouri; Denver, Colorado; Menlo Park, California; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A Mission Description describing the levels of support required will be included with the solicitation. The overall scope of services required is broad and covers such skills as systems analysis, programming, customer services, information technology, computer operations, operations research, administrative specialties, statistics, audio visual, photographic laboratory, logistics, etc. The Government anticipates awarding a single contract with one base year and four (4) one-year option periods. Requests for RFP No. 1434-HQ-96-SS-00007 must be in writing, telephone requests will not be honored. Requests may be made by facsimile to 703-648-7901. Only one RFP will be issued per company. Copies may be limited in number. With the exception of some attachments, this solicitation will be issued on 3-1/2'' diskettes formatted for DOS and Wordperfect 5.1. Diskettes should be reviewed immediately for content verification. In the event that a diskette is unreadable, offerors must notify the Contracting Officer within one (1) week of RFP issuance to receive a new diskette. Requisite approvals including the Delegation of Procurement Authority relating to this solicitation have not been obtained at this time but will be obtained prior to the release of this solicitation.
