USACERL requires the development of an ANSI standard on combining noise environments for assessment and development of ANSI input international standards relevant to Army environmental noise. Period of service will be 24 April 1996 through 31 December 1996. The proposed procurement will be on a sole source basis IAW FAR 6.302-1. The Contracts Office intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price contract with The American National Standards Institute because it is the group responsible for environmental noise standards in the United States and the United States representative to the International Standards Organization.
