The U.S. Department of Commerce invites U.S. computer hardware, software, networking, and systems integration firms to participate in its Video/Catalog Showcase at CompuChina in Beijing, China, June 6-10, 1996. CompuChina `96 is the only information technology exhibition in China that enjoys the exclusive endorsement and support of the Ministry of Electronics Industry (MEI). CompuChina `95 attracted over 100 international vendors, as well as 150,000 visitors from all over China. This year's show will feature six theme pavilions; Communications and Networking, Personal Computing and Hardware, Software and Applications, Multimedia, CAD/CAM, and Banking and Finance. Companies may participate on a low-cost basis in CompuChina `96 through representation in a U.S. Video/Catalog Showcase. Participants have a unique opportunity to test the market without incurring substantial advertising, travel, and exhibiting expenses. For as little as $550, we will describe a company's products to attendees, prominently display and distribute literature, and run any videotape presentations and software demonstrations provided. We will also highlight participating firms in a separate U.S. directory and send, upon our return to the United States, a customized list of distributors, dealers, and users interested in their products and/or services.
