Features of the work include clearing and disposing of trees along the downstream toe of the dam, downstream of the auxiliary spillway, and along the access road; constructing a rockfill berm along the downstream face of the dam and raising the dam crest height by 1-foot; placing rockfill erosion protection by the existing concrete spillway; removing and stockpiling roadway surface material from the top of the dam; constructing an extension to the existing outlet works conduit of approximately 56 feet; plugging the abandoned city outlet conduit; constructing a reinforced concrete bulkhead in the Left Abutment abandoned tunnel; and constructing an auxiliary spillway along the dam crest.
