Hager at (404)842-6553 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Provide all labor, materials and equipment to provide and install modular units on site at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Chamblee Facility. The units shall be designed, manufactured, transported and set-up on site and set in operation as a turn-key installation. The units are intended to provide the CDC a flexible, easily deployed, rugged, and vibration free facility for conducting its research. The units shall meet or exceed standards for Biological Safety Level-2 and meet 1994 Standard Building Code Type V construction. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to supply all items to ensure such performance on a fully installed, ready to operate basis. Site/civil work includes, but is not limited to: supporting foundations; extension of utilities to building site; building base construction; perimeter wall construction. The individual units shall have, as a minimum, a life expectancy of 10 years, and be capable of three (3) locations during this period. The estimated cost range of this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000 and is UNRESTRICTED. Solicitation (IFB) 96-78 will be available on or about 5/16/96.
