COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 22,1996 PSA#1557Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, P O Box 5888, Denver, CO 80217 36 -- INDUCED DRAFT FANS AND DRIVE SYSTEMS SOL ANG5CQ04-a DUE 042496.
Contact Mr. Stephen D. Hoskins, 303/843-2359. The following equipment
will be purchased as part of the Chemical Stockpile Disposal Program
for the Department of the Army: Equipment required includes induced
draft fans, controls, drive systems (including transformers), lube oil
systems (if required for fan), interconnecting ducting and expansion
joints for four furnace systems. Electrical power will be supplied at
4160V/60Hz. All equipment may be purchased in one package or by two
separate packages as follows: 1.) fans, controls, lube oil systems (if
required for fan), interconnecting ducting and expansion joints, and
required for fan), interconnecting ducting and expansion joints, and
2.) drives (including transformers). Procurement may include options
for six (6) additional sites within the continental U.S. The fan/drive
assemblies for each furnace system may include one (1) or two (2)
units mounted on separate baseplates with interconnecting ducting to
provide the required volume and pressure. The number of units (stages)
per furnace system will be determined by the fan manufacturer based on
the operating conditions. The approximate fan operating conditions are
as follows: FAN 101 (INITIAL CONDITIONS): Inlet (ACFM) - 10,800 (max),
2300 (min); density (lb/cu. ft.) - 0.0382 (normal), 0.0364 to 0.0394
