65 -- PLASMA STERILIZER SOL 648-24-96 DUE 051596 POC Contact Point, Julie Files, (503)220-8262x7107 The Portland VA Medical Center requires the procurement of a non-ETO sterilizer to be used in the Central Supply Unit to support Medical Center requirements. All parties interested and capable of providing a unit that meets this criteria are invited to request solicitation package. It has been determined that this type of unit is commercially available to satisfy requirements. Funds are currently not available for this procurement but are anticipated. No allowable costs for bid preparation should funds not be made available for this purpose for any reason. Should award be made it will be based on the offer that is determined to be most advantageous for the application required. Evaluation will minimally include how well the proposed system meets the requirements needs included but not limited to, anticipated materials costs, equipment acquisition cost, utility costs, overall best value to the Government, past performance, range of items capable of being processed, and references, not necessarily in this order of priority. F.O.B. Destination within premises to include installation in the existing site and the inlcusion of inservice training to both central supply staff and training for maintenance personnel. Technical packages provided for evaluation will minimally require product literature describing technical features as well as required and recommended expendables, warranty provisions and other factors related to equipment.
