Verret (210) 221-9304 (Site Code DADA10) The Central Contracting Office, U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) anticipates making multiple contract awards for nonpersonal services for Health Care Advisor System (HCAS) services MEDCOM wide, including Outside Continental US (OCONUS). The government is seeking contractors who can operate and maintain an HCAS 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The use of the system is for registered nurses to provide information only. The registered nurses must have a valid license in one of the 50 states, have 5 years varied clinical nurse experience within the last 10 years (acute minor illness clinic or ER experience is preferred) and must possess exceptional communication skills, both written and oral with demonstrated abilities for good decision making, judgement, and common sense. Multiple award task order contracts are anticipated, whereby, specific requirements will be identified via delivery orders against the contracts. The anticipated base period of performance is 1 Oct 96 through 30 Sep 97 with four 1-year options. The tentative solicitation issue date is 25 Apr 96 with the closing date approximately 30 days later. This requirement is being solicited under full and open competition.
