REENGINEERING AND THE IMPACT ON LOGISTICS Linda Cole, Information POC,

Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) in participation with the USAF
Electronic Systems Center (ESC) is pleased to announce a one-day
workshop entitled ``Reengineering and the Impact on Logistics'' to be
held 10 April 1996. The Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom AFB, MA is
one of the Air Force Materiel Command's major acquisition centers. ESC
specializes in the acquisition of electronic systems, notably Command,
Control, Communications and Intelligence or C4I. By their nature, these
systems lend themselves to extensive use and integration of
commercial-off-the- shelf technology. The theme for this year's
workshop is ``Reengineering and the Impact on Logistics''. It will
provide information on the significant acquisition changes that have
been implemented and their affect on the logistics community in both
Government and Industry. This one-day workshop will be held at the
Hanscom AFB Officer's Club from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM in the Lincoln
Ballroom. The morning session will feature the Keynote Address by Dr.
Philip Panzarella, ESC Executive Director and will be rounded out with
various Government and Industry Speakers. Lunch will be served in the
Lincoln Ballroom to be followed by the Luncheon Speaker, Mr. Patrick
Roddy, President of Raytheon Service Company. The afternoon session
will consist of a Government/Industry Panel moderated by Mr. Rich
Stillman, Defense Systems Management College (DSMC) Regional Director
with presentations, discussion and an open forum. Closing comments will
be presented by Mr. Norm Michaud, Certified Professional Logistician
(CPL), Fellow, and Former SOLE HQ Executive Director. The registration
fee is $50 for the one day workshop. All billeting and transportation
arrangements are the responsibility of the attendees. Attendees will
be provided lunch as guests of the Chapter. For registration forms and

27 March 1996. At that time, your registration will be confirmed and
additional administrative details will be furnished to you.
Cancellations must be made by 3 April 1996 to receive refund of
payment. Please note that each registration fee covers one attendee
only. Attendance is limited to 75 persons. Only a limited number of
seats remain. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served
