The cranes and manuals will be delivered to the following locations, listed in order of priority for delivery; Grand Forks AFB ND; Minot AFB ND; FE Warren AFB WY; Malmstrom AFB MT. Vehicle delivery will be FOB, destination. The cranes shall meet or exceed the following minimum specifications. Crane is to be a hydraulically operated, telescoping crane. Gross vehicle weight rating is 58,000 lbs. GVWR. Vehicle engine shall be sized to maintain 60 MPH on 6% grade at 6500 feet high altitudes with maximum GVW of 20K load + vehicle weight of 58,000 lbs, 300 HP diesel minimum, with automatic transmission. The hydraulic system shall have overload protection and contain winterization package (-65 degrees F) to include winter grade oil and arctic seal kits (Poly Pack Tight). Basic contract period is 1 August 1996 through 30 September 1996 with one option year period. This solicitation will be issued, without further notice, as unrestricted. Firms desiring consideration should submit sufficient detailed literature on the make/model of the cranes being proposed to enable the contracting office to make a determination of acceptability.
