(817) 334-4418 (Site Code DACA63) The project consists of construction
of a 136 person (two person per Module), Dormitory Complex. The
complex shall consists of one and two story housing in clusters or
villages with central courtyard/oasis with extensive landscaping and
other amenities. Foundation systems of spread footings, continuous
grade beam footings, under floor slab on grade. The walls will be rigid
frame or metal stud frame with exterior synthetic stucco wall panels.
The roofs are of standing seam metal mounted on structural steel
framing. Four buildings, with Lead-Based Paint and Asbestos, and a
tennis court will be demolished under this project. An approximately
3200 foot road will be constructed. Supporting facilities include all
requierd untilities, exterior and interior signage, communications,
alarm systems, parking, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage,
individual unitary Air Conditioning systems, wet and dry pipe fire
sprinkler systems, landscape and lawn sprinklers, EMCS and site
improvements. The plans and specifications have been placed on Compact
Disk (CD ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and
Specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.

Estimated Cost Range: $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. NO EXPRESS MAIL
PROCEDURES WILL BE UTILIZED ON INITIAL MAILINGS OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS. Solicitation to be issued on or about 19 Apr 96. Bid
opening on or about 21 May 96. Duration of contract 400 days. If a
large business firm is selected for this announcement, it must comply
with FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting
plan. The Fort Worth District's goal for the dollars to be
subcontracted is for 52.5% to go to Small Businesses, of the 52.5%
goal, 8.8% should go to Small Disadvantaged Business, and 3.0% to Women
Owned Small Business. A Network Analysis System is required. Bids from
