Norris, (619)553-4331. The purpose of this task is to fabricate and test an x-band switched beam antenna. The antenna shall be capable of electronically switching between 15 beam positions in azimuth, with a 2 degree azimuth beamwidth and shall have a fixed 3 degree vertical beamwidth. The vertical beam will be centered at 0 degree elevation angle, and adjacent azimuth beams will crossover at the 2 db points. Design center frequency is 9.5 ghz with at least 800 mhz instantaneous bandwidth. Input peak power shall be 50 kw at a 1% duty cycle (maximum pulse width of 30 useconds). Peak gain should be better than 34db, and sidelobes should not exceed 20db. Statement of work and drawings will be provided when solicitation document is issued.
