The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service,
Office of Federal Protective Service (FPS) is seeking potential sources
for decentralized relational database management software products and
services that will support Microsoft Windows and Local Area Network
(LAN) environment with the ability to be loaded on Novell/W indows NT
Servers. FPS has the responsibility of recording, tracking, and
reporting criminal offenses and incidents that occur on property owned
or managed by GSA. Software should include offenses and incidents
reporting; providing easy retrieval and query on all data for risk
assessment, crime analysis, and statistical reporting; provide National
Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) module that complies with the
Federal Bureau of Investigation standards; supports criminal
investigations; supports interfacing with other systems in a Microsoft
Windows environment; and provide system backup and archive features.
