The FAA's Office of Research and Acquisitions will conduct a series of Industry ``Acquisition Reform Information Meetings'' in the Washington, DC and metropolitan area. The purpose of these ``Acquisition Reform Information Meetings'' is to brief industry on our new Lifecycle Acquisition Management System and Procurement Process to be implemented beginning April 1, 1996. The first Acquisition Reform Information Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 9th, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm in the FAA Auditorium. The second Acquisition Reform Information Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the FAA Auditorium. Subsequent Industry ``Acquisition Reform Information Meetings'' will be scheduled at a latter date as interest dictates. Speakers will include Dr. George Donohue, Associate Administrator for Research and Acquisitions, and Dennis DeGaetano, Director of Acquisitions. They will be joined by a panel of agency experts to answer your questions and discuss the new processes. In order to make the best use of your time, we are requesting that your questions be submitted in advance. We anticipate a high level of interest. Each meeting will be limited to 150 seats for industry participants, no more than two representatives from each company. The first 75 companies to respond to this announcement with a request for admittance, the date you would like to attend, the names of your attendees, and your advance questions will receive seating confirmation, by mail.
