The contractor is to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform operation of Copier Services at various locations at Edwards Air Force Base, Phillips Laboratory and various locations in Lancaster and Palmdale California. The contract will have a one year basic period and four one-year options. The workload estimate is as follows: Category 1 copiers, 33 ea; Category 2 copiers, 154 ea; Category 3 copiers, 17 ea. (Category 1 is defined as a machine capable of reproducing 17-24 copies per minute, with automatic feed capability and a 10 bin sorter; Category 2 is defined as a machine that is capable of reproducing 40-55 copies per minute, with a reversing automatic document feeder (RADF), a 20 bin sorter, automatic 2:2 duplexing, and automatic stapling/finishing capabilities; and Category 3 is defined as a machine capable of reproducing 60-69 copies per minute, with reversing automatic document feed (RADF), a 20 bin sorter, automatic 2:2 duplexing, automatic stapling/finishing and automatic 3-hole punch capabilities.) The numbers do not represent firm quantities but are estimates based on the existing requirements. Each category is subject to a 7% variation plus or minus. The estimated number of copies the Government will guarantee is as follows: Basic year, 19 million; Option Year One, 20 million; Option Year Two, 21 million; Option Year Three, 22 million; and Option Year Four, 23 million.
