16 -- INSTALLATION OF COOPERATIVE ENGAGEMENT CAPABILITY ONTO P-3C AIRCRAFT POC Contact, Patrice M. Jones, Phone (703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-95-G-0208 to Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems. The effort includes moving the Cooperative Engagement Capability system advanced development model hardware from U.S. Customs Service (USCS) P-3B onto a fleet P-3C aircraft to support further CEC testing. This cross-decking of equipment supports ongoing CEC testing. Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, Marietta, Georgia is the original equipment manufacturer of the P-3 and the contractor that modified the USCS P-3 into its present configuration. The contractor owns the installation drawings and specifications and will be required, as part of this effort, to restore the USCS P-3 to the condition it was in prior to CEC installation. As the sole developer/owner of the installation package, Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems is the only known firm with the expertise and technical data need to perform the effort.
