66 -- HIGH SENSITIVITY BALANCE SOL 52SBNB6C9088 DUE 041696 POC Trena Bercaw (301) 975-6324 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for one high sensitivity balance, one hydraulic lift truck or other convenient way of adding and removing full gas cylinders, and on-site installation, commissioning and operator training at customer location. The balance shall be capable of mass measurements on full gas size cylinders (AL size). The balance shall have a capacity of 100kg, a sensitivity of 10 mg, and a readability of 10 mg. It shall have a minimum hanger height of 53'', and a minimum pan dimension of 14'' square. The balance shall have a fine adjustment on the mass reading through chain or automatic mass adjustments of at least 5g. The beam shall be dampened to allow quick reading of mass. The hydraulic lift shall lift the cylinders on/off the pan.
