reconciliation, routine reports, and other accounting duties.
Contractor will be tasked to request and perform work on and review
financial statements, reports, and other information of a factual
nature, including standard types of statements and financial reports,
and data such as NCForm 2129. Contractor must have knowledge of Navy
and DOD supply operations. Ten or more years of practical experience in
the Navy Supply System is required. Contractor must be knowledgeable of
UADPS. A minimum of ten years of UADPS experience is required. Broad
based SUADPS experience (minimum of ten years) can be substituted. At
least three years of financial experience in UADPS applications E and
F or SUADPS financial is required. Contractor must have extensive
knowledge of the directives prescribed in NAVCOMPT Manual Volume VIII,
pertaining to the Navy Material Accounting. Contractor must have a
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, or Management related fields.
Contractor must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the
English language fluently. Contractor must have the ability to
communicate with all levels of employees and management involved with
supply and financial operations at the FISC and DFAS. Contractor must
be able to contribute potential solutions to problems by developing
and/or modifying accounting methods or techniques. Contractor must have
good filing skills, and the ability to type accurately (speed not
essential). Contractor must be able to utilize basic personal computer
programs such as word processing and spreadsheets, as well as special
UADPS interface programs. Access to pull down UADPS generated
documents and reports will be provided by the government. Services to
be performed at the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, HI.
Contract period is 01 June 1996 through 30 September 1996, with two (2)
twelve-month option periods. The Government intends to include the
option clause FAR 52.217-8 in the solicitation. This requirement is a
100% small business set-aside. See Note 1. All responsible sources may
