Anticipated tasking includes: evaluating ADCAP for performance, reliability and maintainability; synthesize, integrate, and test concepts for advanced subsystems; design, prototype and test components and subsystems; develop algorithms and define and incorporate software modifications; update software validation hardware and software tools; maintain Interim Support Equipment and developmental hardware; evaluate software and hardware designs from the Lightweight Torpedo Program to implement these in the Heavyweight Program. Type of contract is Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite quantity with cost plus fixed fee provisions. Period of performance is five years with anticipated start date of DEC 1996. Estimated level of effort is approx. 440,000 hours, with ''key'' categories including Senior Scientist, Senior Engineer, and Senior Computer Programmer. Experience in heavyweight torpedo systems, software development and test policy for Navy Missions Critical Systems, Automatic Test Equipment applications, defining software program performance algorithms required.
