The work to be performed under this project involves the removal of the existing roofing materials on eight existing buildings, all flat roof structures; replacement of roofing deck where required; the installation of build-up roof on six (6) of the buildings and roof trusses, decking, and shingles on two (2) of the buildings. The work includes the coordination of mechanical and electrical trades for the removal of existing mechnical and electrical elements on the buildings and the reinstalltion of these elements per the construction documents at the Mississippi Job Corps Center located in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. The estimated cost range for construction is between $250,000 to $500,000. Plans and specifications will be available on April 12, 1996 ONLY from the Office of J.H. & H. It is emphasized that requests for plans and specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. All requests must be in writing. Plans and specifications are available for pick-up at the above-mentioned A/E's office. Requests will be answered on a first come, first serve basis until supplies are exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. A Pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled for April 23, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. local time.
