65 -- NEEDLELESS ARTERIAL SAMPLING SYSTEM SOL 671-42-96 DUE 051396 POC Contact Point, Antonio Arriaga, (210)617-5149 This facility intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed-price requirements contract with Abbott Laboratories for the purchase of a custom sterile needleless arterial sampling system. This procurement is authorized under Statutory Authority U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Contract will be for one base year with two one year renewal options. Currently this facility is buying the following items from Abbott: (1) Safeset 24'' arterial pressure tubing patient mount with in-line safeset reservoir and in-line safeset blood sampling port. (2) Safeset shielded blunt canula. (3) Safeset blood sampling tube holder with shielded blunt cannula. Abbott will assemble the three products to make a complete custom sterile needleless arterial system. See Note Number 22. (0085)
