combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items prepared
in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only request for quotation; proposals are being
requested and a written quotation will not be issued. The request for
quotation incorporates provision and clauses in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 90-34. This is an unrestricted procurement. Item
required: CLIN 1; P/N BMS8-219-285, Kevlar Prepreg. Quantity required:
600 yards to be delivered in increments of 60 yards per month for 10
months. Packaging shall be in accordance with Standard Commercial
Hazard Material Packaging. Items are to be delivered to USCG Aircraft
Repair & Supply Center, Receiving Section, Bldg. 63, Elizabeth City, NC
27909-5001. Final Acceptance shall be at destination. Closing date and
time for receipt of offers is 16 April 1996, 3:00pm, Eastern Standard
Time. Facsimile Offers are acceptable and may be forwarded via Fax
Number (919)335-6496. FAR provision, 52.212-2 does not apply in that
award will be made to the offeror who submits the lowest price.
