The Government requests an offer from Information Handling Services (IHS) for electronic full-text Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) publications on CD-ROM from the period of 4/1/96 through 3/31/97. The JSC requires efficient, convenient, immediate access to the articles, conference proceedings, and standards of the IEEE to support daily activities of the Space Shuttle, Space Station, and other programs. IHS is the sole publisher of this information in electronic format. IEEE has contracted with IHS for the marketing and distribution of their electronic product. Items to be delivered shall be shipped FOB Destination to :NASA Johnson Space Center, Attn: Transporation Officer bldg. 420, Houston, TX 77058; Reissue to Sharon Beth Halprin/PS33, Science Technical Information Library. FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors--Commercial (OCT 1995), and the following addenda to this provision apply to this acquisition. The proposal shall be received by NASA Johnson Space Center, Attn: BI2/Krystine Bui, Houston, TX 77058, no later that close of business of the fifteenth day from the date this announcement first appears in the CBD.
