A -- RADIO-IMMUNOASSAY OF HUMAN HEAD HAIR SPECIMENS SOL OJP-96-R-005 DUE 031896 POC Carrie F. The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) intends to issue a sole source contract to Psychemedics. The Contractor shall provide technical assistance to National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the Pennsylvania Prison Project and conduct radio-immunoassay of human head hair specimens obtained from prison inmates. The Contractor shall provide 1) Technical asssistance to prison staff and NIJ, 2) Package tamper-proof water-resistant packaging for each sample, 3) Analyze the hair samples, and 4) Report the results to NIJ in terms of nanograms of each drug. The period of performance shall be one year with an optional period of one year. Any other firm desiring consideration must submit documentation which demonstrates its technical capability to perform this requirement. All responses will be considered. See Note 22.(0356) (0085)
