The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission intends to place a contract with AT&T Global Information Solutions Company for providing on-site, On-call Nationwide Remedial and Preventive Maintenance Service for Unix-based NCR ''Tower'' Series Computers located at the State and Local Fair Employment Practices Agencies. Remedial Maintenance shall include problem diagnosis, including analysis of automatic and scheduled system status reports generated by the covered systems, repair or replacement of defective parts and/or peripherals and installation of hard disk drives when hard disk drive upgrades are required. Preventive Maintenance shall include cleaning, inspections, and adjustments as specified by the original equipment manufacturer. AT&T Global Information Solutions Company is the only known company who has the capability to perform Nationwide Remedial and Preventive Maintenance Services for Unix-based NCR ''Tower'' Series Computers. Other firms may submit information identifying their capability to provide the required service. This information will be considered, however, only if clear and convincing documentation is furnished within 45 days of this publication. Documentation must demonstrate interested sources ability to meet the Government's requirements and that it is advantageous to the Government to consider other such sources. If no affirmative written responses are received within 45 days from date of publication of this notice, a contract will be placed with AT&T Global Information Solutions Company. See Note 22. (0085)
