The United States Postal Service is seeking proposals to lease existing space, space to be modified, or facility to be constructed in Whitesboro 13492, Yorkville 13495, and New York Mills, NY 13417. All sites within the preferred area will be considered; however, sites offered within the following boundaries will receive priority consideration: North on Main St. to Whitesboro St; South on Main St. to Campbell Ave; East on Oriskany Blvd. to Elmwood St; West on Oriskany Blvd. to Clinton St. Space requirements are approximately: 18,000 net interior square feet; 40,000 sq. ft. of driveway, parking and maneuvering area, along with a 2,000 sq. ft enclosed loading platform; and 95,000 sq. ft. total developable site less setbacks. The lease term is for a base term of twenty years with four five-year renewal options. This solicitation is issued for the purpose of identifying potential acceptable locations for a planned facility to consolidate operations presently housed in the Whitesboro, Yorkville, and New York Mills Main Post Offices. Once it has been established that acceptable locations exist, a separate solicitation will be issued to request proposals for the actual construction contract. All stated dimensions are estimated. Neither the facility design, nor the construction specifications, have been completed. This solicitation is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The Postal Service does not intend to award a contract based on this solicitation, or to pay for the information solicited. Proposals will be received through April 30, 1996, and must be submitted by principals only on specified forms and in accordance with the official advertisement for space.
