Origin with delivery of 5 each to Ft Rucker, 2 each to Boise, ID and 3
each to Ft Hood, TX. This is a Not-Mission Capable Supply requisition
which is of an unusual and compelling urgency that a delay in contract
award would seriously impact the new pilot training mission for Ft
Rucker, the Attack Helicopter Battalion training mission at Ft Hood as
well as active Army aircraft. Required delivery is to be 30 days after
receipt of award. This procurement requires prequalification.
Contractors who desire to be prequalified must submit qualification
documentation. This proposed contract is for supplies for which the
Government does not own specifications and drawings, however it is
restricted to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, 5000 E. McDowell
Rd, Mesa, AZ. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item
described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the
Contracting Officer, and provide supporting evidence which will permit
their participation in the current or future solicitations. All
responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which shall be
