Diesel engine, automatic transmission. Normal manufacturers warrenty of not less than three year or 36,000 miles. Van body to be 14 foot long and 8 foot wide. Roll-up rear door with 78 inches high, 88 inches wide opening and not more than a 6 inch header above the door. 32 inch single curb side door with access step and grab/assist handle, step not to exceed 18 inches from ground level. Interior finish of van to be fiberglass, plastic or rhino coating and shall have a seamless and jointless finish. Hydraulic lift gate with 1600 pound capacity, tuck away/fold away design, 32 inch by 72 inch platform with 4 inch ramp. Climate control unit shall maintain internal van body temperature 70 +/- 10 degress fahrenheit when hauling live animals and shall not contain Class I ozone depleting substances. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
