The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Washington will be soliciting, on behalf of the Defense Printing Service, for document conversion services. The anticipated contract is projected to consist of a base year and four option years. Tasks will include scanning/converting hardcopy databases; scanning/converting 16mm Microfilm databases; scanning/converting 35mm Microform databases using Raster Technology; scanning/converting 105mm Microform databases using Raster technology; scanning/converting 105mm 48X Microform databases using Raster technology; scanning/converting hardcopy databases to ASCII using Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) Technology; SGML Tagging; Converting Hardcopy Databases to Portable Document Format (PDF); Writing Converted Data to various media; Producing CD-ROM Masters from Premastered Databases; and Producing CD-ROM Replicas From CD-ROM Masters. The SIC Code is 7389. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is available to interested parties in hard copy format. All interested parties must submit requests by fax to the Customer Service Center at the fax number listed above.
