The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement to procure post-production engineering and logistic services in support of the transition of the AN/AAS 42 Infrared Search and Track Systems (IRSTS) and the AN/AAS-42 depot support equipment. Included is the procurement of repairs and repair parts, upgrades, change kits and installation of those change kits, engineering prototyping, testing and evaluation, documentation, technical manuals, training and sustaining engineering. This procurement is to support the Naval Aviation Depot, Jacksonville, Florida. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to establish a Basic Ordering Agreement on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lockheed Martin Electronics and Missiles, Orlando, Florida 32819-8907. Due to the highly specialized nature of this technology, Lockheed Martin Corporation is the only responsible source for the required technical data and engineering support. (0086)
