The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to negotiate a contract modification to add 110,000 manhours to an existing contract for technical support support services for Surface Ship Maintenance Improvement Program (SSMIP) with American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS), 1777 North Kent Street, Arlington, VA 22209. The contractor will continue to perform these services under Contract N00024-92-C-4160 for the period of approximately 15 April 1996 through 30 September 1996 or until award of a competitively negotiated procurement now in process. AMS is the only firm that currently possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to provide the needed effort within the required timeframe. (0086)
