S -- CAFETERIA OPERATIONS SOL 52RANB60C028 DUE 051496 POC Procurement Clerks, 303-497-3221 Establish and operate a cafeteria at the Department of Commerce Boulder Labratories, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO. Contractor shall dispense food, non-alcoholic beverages, and other such items as may be authorized by the Government between the hours of 6:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. In performance of the contract, the Contractor shall provide all trays, cookware, plates, dishes, custodial services and insect and rodent control. Contractor shall obtain valid food service licenses and certifications of inspection required by the Colorado State Board of Health and the Boulder County Health Department, and shall observe all applicable building, health, sanitary, and other regulations and laws. Contractor shall pay all costs incident to or resulting from operations under the contract which are not specifically identified as being furnished or paid by the Government. Government will furnish space and utilities for the cafeteria operations. The cafeteria space consists of approximately 2,700 square feet, with 1,400 square feet for seating 100 people. The cafeteria space includes 325 square feet for serving, 600 square feet for cooking/kitchen, and 345 square feet for refrigeration/storage. Approximately 1,000 people work at this Commerce site Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. In addition, the site frequently has guests and visitors. Contract shall be for a period of one year with option to renew for four additional years in increments of one year each. See Numbered Note 1. (0086)
