Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the complete removal of eight (8) existing rooftop gas heat/electric cool units at the New Britain CT Main Office at 6 West River Street, New Britain, CT 06050-9998. Work includes providing eight (8) new rooftop gas heat/electric cool units, reusing the existing roof curb, and making the building ready for Postal operations, and related miscellaneous work. The estimated cost of the work is between $75,000.00 and $125,000.00, with completion within 50 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on April 26, 1996. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made.
