Mechanical/Electrical Upgrading and Miscellaneous Renovations for the
Second Floor of the John O. Pastore Federal Building, Exchange Terrace,
Providence, RI. The work includes but is not limited to fitting out the
entire second floor as a Courtroom-Judges Chambers floor with ancillary
US Marshal, Prisoner Cells, Clerk of Courts and essential public
spaces; replacing and repairing the building roofs; repointing the
exterior brick structure; and adding an exterior prisoner vehicle
sallyport. This procurement is open to both small and large businesses
under the ''Small Business Demonstration Program.'' SIC Code is 1542,
Size is $17.0 Mil. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000
and $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available o/a 05/20/96
until supply is exhausted. A NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE OF $100 IS REQUIRED.
LIMIT ONE (1) SET. Bank certified check, cashier's check or money
orders only will be accepted. Plans and specifications will be made
available for inspection at no charge at the following locations:

514, Providence, RI; and GSA, Thomas P O'Neill, Jr. Federal Building,
10 Causeway St., 9th Floor, Boston, MA. All requests for plans and
