The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for a low pressure booster pump and motor to pump liquid parahydrogen. The following conditions apply: Pumped Fluid - LH2; Flowrate - 12 to 15 gallons per minute; Inlet Pressure - 15 to 20 psia; Outlet Pressure - 80 to 90 psia; Fluid Temperature; approximately -420 degrees Farenheit; Fluid Density - 4.42 lbm/ft^3; End Connections - 150 lb ANSI RF Flanges, Serrated Faces, Inlet and Outlet; Motor and Electricals - Explosion-proof; and Duty Cycle - Continuous.
