58 -- ANTENNA AND PHASE CONTROL UNITS SOL 12-6-27111 POC Mike Robinson (405) 954-7812 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for 28 each, Capture Effect Glide Slope (CEGS) Antenna and Phase Control Units (APCUs), Wilcox Electric, Inc. (Wilcox) Type FA-9928, Wilcox P/N 098240-0400. This will be a firm-fixed-price type contract. These APCUs are applicable to the National Service Life Extension Project for Mark lb and lc instrument landing systems. These supplies are only known to be manufactured by Wilcox because proprietary data or the Governments lack of technical data, plans, drawings, specifications or other documentation required for full and open competition. Other concerns having the ability to furnish the above property/services are requested to give written notification (including name and telephone number of a point of contact) to the procuring office listed in this notice, with reference made to market survey file listed in this notice, within 45 calendar days from the date of this publication. Responses should provide specific information regarding the ability of your concern to satisfy the Governments requirement. Specific information would include access to technical data, plans, drawings, specifications, test program sets, test equipment, or other documentation developed or acquired by your company to manufacture the required item. Additionally, specific information should be provided as to how your company acquired such data which has been held as proprietary to Wilcox. All responses to this market survey will be considered prior to further acquisition action by the Government. Any information received as a result of this announcement will not be provided to other contractors and will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
