C -- IMPROVE PATIENT ENVIRONMENT - 5 EAST SOL RFP #519-12-96 DUE 042596 POC Contact Point, Sarah Sobor, (915)264-4866, Contracting Officer, Sarah Sobor, (915)264-4866 ''Improve Patient Environment - 5 East'', Project #519-300, A/E Services shall be for a fully developed preliminary design, {IH service will be required for the preliminary design phase which includes survey and identification of asbestos for the renovated areas.} drawings, specifications, construction cost estimate, for the renovation of approxomately 8,700 gross square feet of existing space and approximately 3,000 gross feet of new construction, areas to include clean core and SPD support space to be located above the first floor east end roof; Clean side and soiled cart lifts providing direct access between fifth floor surgery, first floor ambulatory surgical space, and the new SPD space are to be included as well. Renovated areas will include the existing surgical suite and corresponding Recovery area, reducing the number of O.R. suites from five to four. Project will provide O.R. Orthopedic, and two (2) general operating rooms. Work will include update of utility systems including electrical, plumbing sanitary and HVAC systems (HEPA filter system to be installed for the surgical rooms.) (0087)
