The U.S. Army Intelligence Center, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is interested in receiving no-charge vendor demonstrations of virtual networking over switched ATM and Ethernet in an operational setting. Vendors must be prepared to provide complete demonstration system consisting of two ATM backbone switches with OC-3 and FDDI interfaces, four Ethernet 10BaseT switches with ATM/OC-3 interfaces, and full network management. Virtual networking must support IPX protocol and IP protocol in flat (not subnetted) Class-B address space, with roving subscribers. Vendors must be prepared to install, configure, and connect to Government transmission lines. (085)
